CHARLOTTE — Hundreds of people participated in the last Our Lady of Fatima procession of the year Tuesday night at St. Thomas Aquinas in Charlotte.
The evening commemorated the final apparition of Our Lady of Fatima on October 13, 1917, in Fatima, Portugal.
Father Kolbe Murray led a rosary and was joined by Father Joseph Yellico, chaplain of the UNC Catholic Campus Ministry for a candlelight procession.
The parish organizes a Fatima devotion and procession on the 13th of every month from May through October.
