CANDLER — Father Dean Cesa’s retirement and 13 years of service to St. Joan Of Arc Parish in Candler were celebrated during weekend Masses Aug. 8-9 and with a reception in the fellowship hall.
Father Cesa served the parish since 2013 and saw growth in many areas of service to the parish and community. Pictured with Father Cesa are members of the St. Joan of Arc chapter of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, who provided brunch items.
He was presented with a lap quilt made by the Quilting Ministry. An embroidered label thanked him for his unwavering support of the ministry that has served both the parish and the community since 2021.
