KERNERSVILLE — On June 14, the Knights of Columbus of Holy Cross Parish presented Pablo Zavala with a $750 check for his selection as this year’s Staddon-Cain Scholarship Award winner.
Zavala is a student at Bishop McGuinness High School and serves the community and his parish in a variety of ways.
The Staddon-Cain Scholarship was established to recognize the importance of young men and women continuing their Catholic education. Selection criteria is based on support of their Catholic faith, family and community outreach.
