CHARLOTTE — Hundreds of faithful flocked to Carowinds on July 27 for the Diocese of Charlotte’s annual Catholic Family Day.
The day began the day with a full Mass on-site at 9 a.m., celebrated by Friars Father Casey and Father Tito.
Youth groups and families from parishes across the diocese spent the rest of the day with roller coasters, staying cool in the heat, group lunch and some water park fun.
