CINCINNATI, Ohio — Seminarian Andrew Templeton received Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders during a Mass on Dec. 8, the patronal feast of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Cincinnati.
The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Dennis Schnurr of Cincinnati.
Templeton is a parishioner at St. Michael Church in Gastonia who is studying at the Ohio seminary.
The next steps in Templeton’s formation is ministry of lector, ministry of acolyte, ordination to the transitional diaconate, and finally, ordination to the priesthood.
