012326 TraffickingCONCORD — Learn more about the problem of human trafficking in our region at “Much Closer Than You Think – Human Trafficking in North Carolina,” to be held 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at St. James the Greater Church.

The educational seminar, sponsored by Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte and the Sisters of Mercy, is being held on the feast day of St. Josephine

Bakhita (pictured above), patron saint of human trafficking victims.

Doors open at 2 p.m. in Geiger Hall.

Parental discretion is advised, and the talk is not recommended for children under 16.
