GREENSBORO — Max Linnville has been hired to serve as campus minister at UNC-Greensboro, effective Jan. 5, the Diocese of Charlotte Campus Ministry Office has announced.
A native of western North Carolina, Linnville grew up in Boone and converted to the Catholic faith during college. He has a bachelor’s degree in theology and business from St. Mary’s College at Notre Dame and a master’s in theology from John Carroll University.
He comes to the diocese’s Campus Ministry program with a decade of experience in youth ministry. He spent time on the CCM staff at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and most recently was at St. Edward Catholic High School in Cleveland.
