DENVER — Holy Spirit Parish led by its Knights of Columbus, continues to assist Hurricane Helene survivors who face ongoing challenges.
Father Carmen Malacari explained, “To date, the parishioners of Holy Spirit Parish have donated $54,254 in cash and approximately $30,000 in-kind donations of building supplies, food and water.”
John Sullivan, Knights of Columbus member, noted that the team has given more than 3,000 hours of volunteer time over the past 15 months.
“Besides generous donations of our parishioners and local merchants, we had a spaghetti dinner and bake sale that helped with the amount provided to those in need,” he said.
