102325 CTKHIGH POINT — Father Joe Dinh, pastor of Christ the King in High Point, received a gift just in time for All Souls’ Day from parishioners and friends at St. Joseph Vietnamese Church in Charlotte. Parishioner Thanh Nguyen purchased the statue of Christ the King from Vietnam.

“We needed a statue of Jesus in front of the columbarium,” said Father Dinh, who admitted it was a difficult feat to get the heavy sculpture on top of the columbarium but absolutely loves it. The congregation also got ready for fall by decorating the church sanctuary with an array of pumpkins, gourds and autumn-colored mums.
