GASTONIA — Students at St. Michael School recently spent a morning learning about different careers from 12 presenters who shared details of their jobs, what their day is like, what type of education and training are needed, and other interesting facts.
Presenters included firefighters from the Gastonia Fire Department, as well as representatives from the Army, an accountant, a lawyer, a habitat restoration specialist, a news reporter/photographer, an air traffic controller, a veterinarian, law enforcement personnel, a sports medicine/athletic trainer, a theologian and a nurse.
