Former Charlottean releases new book

CHARLOTTE — Brian Kennelly, a native Charlottean who formerly attended St. Ann School, was at Carmel Country Club Aug. 18 with family, friends and the owners of Goodwill Publishers and Tan Books for a book signing of his newest novel, "Two Statues."
Kennelly has released several other Catholic-oriented books, and this new work of fiction subtly weaves in his Catholic faith. His parents, Kevin and Aleanne Kennelly, are parishioners at St. Patrick Cathedral. Kennelly now lives in Charleston.
